Retrofit activities, carried out over the last 12 years, did not retain period features.

“Over the last 12 years we have gradually achieved our aims to create a more sustainable environment in our home. Coming off gas feels an achievement. We have been very fortunate with the main contractor and have also been exploited by another.  It has been a learning curve and as technology develops it is evident there are now opportunities to do things differently. We are keen to continue to enhance and are considering Infra red Heating in the ceiling (Red Snake) to supplement the wood burning stove for heating the ground floor.”  Hosts: Nelica & Paul
