Green Open Homes

We’ve been running Green Open Homes events since 2013. Hosts across Haringey open their homes to showcase the green measures they’ve implemented, discuss how the work was done, and inspire visitors.

Green Open Homes event taking place during October and November, featuring tours and talks. These events offers the chance to ask neighbours about energy-saving improvements they’ve made and see if they might work for you.

On event days, homeowners who have made energy-saving improvements open their homes to share their experiences. Visiting a home is a great way to learn about the reality of installing solar panels, insulation, triple glazing, or new heating options without talking to a salesman. You can examine the technology, ask home owners about the installation process, and find out how much they’re really saving on their energy bills.
